Code of Conduct

As a Driver/Competitor:

 

I will strictly adhere to the principles of fair play and always play by the rules, showing utmost respect for the sport's traditions and the spirit of competition.

 

I will unwaveringly respect the rights and dignity of every person, including teammates, opponents, and officials, and never engage in behaviour that abuses, provokes, or harasses others.

 

I will unequivocally respect officials' decisions and never argue with them.

 

I will always compete to the best of my abilities and participate for enjoyment, not just for the results.

 

I will never engage in any form of inappropriate conduct, including using offensive language and gestures that are demeaning to others.

 

I will diligently care for the equipment and facilities made available during training and competition.

 

I will constantly consider the safety and well-being of other participants before focusing on performance and results.

 

I will strictly adhere to anti-doping policies.

 

I will never engage in match-fixing or betting on sports.

 

I will never engage in any form of inappropriate conduct, including drinking alcohol, consuming/taking drugs, or smoking while at any event associated with the club.

 

I am fully aware that I may be drug tested before or during the event.

As an Official:

 

I will:

 

Respect the rights and dignity of every person, regardless of gender, race, ethnicity, or sexual orientation.

 

Champion a safe and inclusive environment where every person is safeguarded and free from discrimination, harassment, and abuse.

 

Prioritise the safety and well-being of competitors and officials above all else.

 

Foster respectful and appropriate relationships with every person.

 

Demonstrate impartiality, consistency, and transparency in all conduct and decision-making.

 

Take ownership of your actions.

 

Always act as a role model for others, displaying high standards of good sporting behaviour.

 

Absolutely refrain from engaging in inappropriate conduct, including the use of offensive language, while in an official capacity.

 

Adhere unwaveringly to the laws of the sport and the principles of fair play, ensuring that all competitors and officials honour the spirit of competition.
